Ladies and Gentlemen,
in cultural advertisement for Croatia as a modern and democratic country with rich cultural inheritance we can count for years on the artist Vlado Franjević which employment for the art promotion, both fine art and literature, we particularly estimate. Of a majority as outstanding painters admits, has Vlado Franjević also a poet soul and thus does not surprise that 2008 the price was lent to him as best poet of the Croatian Diaspora.
Therefore it's a special joy for us that Vlado his new poem collection "Touch of Silence" presents on 12th March in CH-Azmoos and on 14th April 2010. in Vaduz, Principality of Liechtenstein. Since it acts around a further unusual venture in the service of the promotion and proclamation of the Croatian culture abroad, I support personally, in addition, the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in Switzerland and for the Principality of Liechtenstein Vlado Franjević in his work, and I hope that also You, in the context of your possibilities, support the proclamation of Croatian artists and culture in Switzerland and in Liechtenstein.

Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren,
in der kulturellen Werbung für Kroatien als eines modernen und demokratischen Landes mit reichem kulturellem Erbe können wir schon seit Jahren auf den Künstler Vlado Franjević zählen, dessen Einsatz für die Kunstförderung, sowohl der bildenden Kunst als auch Literatur, wir besonders schätzen. Einer Mehrheit als hervorragender Maler bekannt, hat Vlado Franjević auch eine Dichterseele und so erstaunt es nicht, dass ihm 2008 der Preis als bester Dichter der kroatischen Diaspora vrliehen wurde.
Daher ist es uns eine besondere Freude, dass Vlado seine neue Gedichtsammlung "Behrührung der Stille" ("Dodir tišine") am 12. März in CH-Azmoos und am 14. April 2010. in Vaduz vorstellen wird. Da es sich um ein weiteres aussergewöhnliches Unterfangen im Dienste der Förderung und Bekanntmachung der kroatischen Kultur im Ausland handelt, unterstütze ich persönlich, aber auch die Botschaft der Republik Kroatien in der Schweiz und für das Fürstentum Liechtenstein Vlado Franjević in seiner Arbeit, und ich hoffe, dass auch Sie, im Rahmen Ihrer Möglichkeiten, die Bekanntmachung kroatischer Künstler und kroatischer Kultur in der Schweiz und in Liechtenstein unterstützen werden.
Wir sind überzeugt, dass Vlado Franjević auch weiterhin mit viel Enthusiasmus als Botschafter der kroatischen Kultur amtieren wird und versichern ihm in diesem Bestreben unsere Unterstützung.

Poštovani,
u kulturnoj promociji Hrvatske kao moderne i demokratske države s bogatom baštinom, već godinama možemo računati i na našeg umjetnika Vladu Franjevića. Zato osebno cijenimo njegov trud i zalaganje u promicanju umjetnosti, ne samo likovne već pisane. Iako je većini poznat kao izvrstan umjetnik, Vlado Franjević ima i pjesničku dušu te stoga ne iznenađuje podatak kako je 2008. godine osvojio nagradu za najboljeg pjesnika hrvatske dijaspore.
Stoga nam je iznimno drago što će promociju svoje nove zbirke "Dodir tišine" Vlado održati 12. ožujka u Azmoosu, a 14. travnja u Vaduzu. Kako se radi o još jednom iznimnom pothvatu u službi promicanja i predstavljanja hrvatske kulture u inozemstvu, ja osobno, ali i veleposlanstvo Republike Hrvatske u Švicarskoj Konfederaciji i Kneževini Lihtenštajn u potpunosti podržavaju Vladu Franjevića u njegovom radu, a iskreno se nadam kako ćete i Vi, u sklopu Vaših mogućnosti, dati potporu promociji hrvatskih umjetnika i hrvatske kulture u Švicarskoj i Lihtenštajnu.

VLADO FRANJEVIC is an artist with a portfolio that is probably a consecutive story telling. Something starts with a quiet scene and moves to an action scene. It includes everyday people, life, and the stuff that the audience see every day. VLADO FRANJEVIC being able to draw all the typical of this world is the most important part of seducing facts and believing what facts are once looking at. Sometime he is a monster that shows up and the superhero that is ready to except things. HE has enticed facts within this sort of real world that they can stay in, so they suspend their disbelief and the fantastic stuff goes down easy.
