1. VLADO'S POSTER WAS EXHIBIT IN SHANGHAI

Inyoung Albert Choi, Ph.D. first organized the United Designs exhibition in year 2004 with 46 friends from 16 nations. His philosophy for this exhibition is to understand our visual communication through either experimental design or practical design without judging their creative talents. He didn’t want to prejudice against their design, race, religion, politics, history, culture, and language background. He wanted this exhibition to be as a unique international event for design field in the world. After two exhibitions at the Hanyang University, he wanted to share his idea with the world by having exhibitions in overseas. So He had an opportunity to have exhibitions in Jordan and USA. The fourth exhibition in USA increased its participants to 210 participants from 23 countries. With its international recognition, the Shanghai Normal University invited the United Designs to have a collections exhibition that displayed the best 120 designs from the previous four exhibitions. One of exhibited works is also Vlado Franjevic's poster "From green to black and back" which was already exhibit in last United Designs exhibition this summer in Californian State Universitiy Northridge, Los Angeles.

In the poetry collection "WITH A LETTER AND DREAM" (SLOVOM I SNOM) was also published Vlados poem "In a russian internet cafe" (U ruskom internet kaficu) in his native language croatian! Same poem spocken by the author you can hear HERE.

5. PUBLISHING OF A POST CARDS SET

1. Participation in one group exhibition in Mauritius

Twenty Four Years ago, was set up by a group of artists involved in activities related to the promotion and development of Art in Mauritius. ‘Art Action’ has become an annual feature in the field in Mauritius. In the present exhibition [ACA/AAC] is exhibiting Portraits in different medium – Drawing, Painting, Printing, Photography & Digigraphy. 27 local artists from Mauritius / Rodrigues Island and 14 invited foreign artists from Estonia, France, Hungary, Denmark, Norway, Brazil and Bangladesh are exhibiting their portraitures. Principality of Liechtenstein is also represented in this exhibition with two portraits made by Vlado Franjevic who exhibits a self-portrait made in 1990 and a portrait of Sergio de Matos Cuhna. The duration of exhibition will be from November 26th until December 7th, 2009 in National Art Gallery, IBL Art Gallery, Port Louis.
