Vlado Franjevic was born 1963 in Martinac, Municipality Cazma, Croatia. 1985 he finished the School for Applied Arts in Zagreb as a Painter. 1989 he moved to Switzerland. Since 1993 he lives and works in the Principality of Liechtenstein. Since 2003 he is member of HDLU (Croatian Association of Fine Artists) and since 2008 of BBKL (Association of Fine Artists of the Principality of Liechtenstein). He exhibited his Artworks in many solo or group Exhibitions and participated in the Art and Graphic Symposiums in several European countries, also in Indonesia, Jordan, S. Korea, Kyrgyzstan, China (III Beijing International Art Biennale and Olympia Fine Arts 2008) and in Mauritius. 2003 he was awarded a yearly scholarship by the Culture Advisory Council of the Principality of Liechtenstein. Vlado Franjevic is also an Author and as a Poet has won two poetry prizes, one for his work in German and one for his work in Croatian (I Prize for the best Poet from Croatian Diaspora in the Year 2008).

Vlado Franjevic wurde 1963 in Martinac, in der Gemeinde Cazma, Kroatien geboren. 1985 schloss er die Schule für angewandte Kunst ab - in der Fachrichtung Malerei in Zagreb, Kroatien. 1989 übersiedelte er in die Schweiz und seit 1993 lebt Vlado Franjevic im Fürstentum Liechtenstein. Seit 2003 ist er Mitglied von HDLU (Union der kroatischen bildenden Künstler), Zagreb und seit 2008 vom BBKL. Er nahm teil an zahlreichen Einzel- oder Gruppenaustellungen, Künstlerkolonien und -Symposien sowie an einem Kulturaustauschprogramm in diversen europäischen Ländern und ausserhald Europas, wie etwa in Indonesia, Jordanien, Südkorea, Kirgisien, Mauritius und China (III Pekinger Internationale Kunstbiennale und Olympia Fine Arts 2008). Im Jahre 2003 wurde er mit dem Werkjahr vom Kulturbeirat der Fürstlichen Regierung gefördert. Vlado Franjevic ist, neben seiner erfolgreichen Tätigkeit als bildender Künstler, mehrfach ausgezeichneter, preisgekrönter Autor kroatischer und deutschsprachiger Schriftwerke.

Vlado Franjevic, rodjen je 1963. u Martincu kraj Cazme, Hrvatska. 1985. zavrsio je slikarski smjer na SPU-i u Zagrebu. 1989. preselio se u Svicarsku a od 1993. zivi u Knezevini Liechtenstein. Od 2003. je clan HDLU-i Zagreb a od 2008. BBKL. Sudjelovao je na mnogim samostalnim i skupnim izlozbama, umjetnickim i grafickim simpozijima i kolonijama u mnogim evropskim zemljama ali i u zemljama izvan Evrope u kojima je najvecim dijelom i boravio: Indonezija, Jordan, J. Koreja, Kirgistan, Mauricijus, Kina (3. Pekinsko medjunarodno likovno bijenale i Olimpijada likovne umjetnosti 2008.) 2003. Franjevic je dobitnik godisnje stipendije Savjetodavnog tijela za kulturu Knezevine Liechtenstein. A kao autor, dobitnik je potpirajuce nagrade za mlade pisce Interesne zajednice njemackih pisaca (IGdA e.V.) u Njemackoj i prve nagrade za poeziju na natjecanju S.S. Kranjcevic koju svake druge godine raspisuje HMI podruznica Rijeka.
